About this artwork
Solar Moon is a smaller sized but very pure and beautiful fine Italian Alabaster. I am quite fond of this piece for it's simplicity and the gentle energy / aura it emits.
I work with 2 to 3 different stones at a time of varying size and shapes. When i am near the finishing process of one sculpture i begin another.
Each stone has a story and offers many possibilities of shape and form but it is only one which remains hidden within the stone itself.… It is my gift to discover this innate image and release it into a world of its' own.
Solar Moon offers the individual an opportunity for self reflection within the Moon's energy of a Lunar Eclipse.
