About this artwork
This is the first painting that I did using dark matter images from NASA. The ghostly blue veils of color are abstractions of these images and suggest the mystery of our origins. Orchid are sensual and striking in their patterns and designs. All of my paintings are meditations on the mystery of existence and of our origins.

Gary Brewer is an American artist whose paintings have been exhibited in the United States and in Italy. When Brewer paints an orchid or piece of coral, he marvels at the complexity of their designs.
