About this artwork
his aspen tree landscape painting, "Deep Forest Reds", showcases the use of a palette knife to create off the surface texture. The sculpted blue sky reflects in the beautiful pond as the red flowers dance in the breeze. With all of my paintings, I want the viewer to feel that they can walk into the canvas, lean against a tree, feel the breeze on their face, smell the flowers and just breathe.
