About this artwork
Exploring the varied positioning of circles gives a bit of a surreal presentation to this painting. I started with an acrylic background and collaged a mono print to the surface. I love to create a variety of monoprints with no specific result in mind. Layering paint and various textures on a Gelli plate result in fun and whimsical prints that can be used in a variety of ways. As I got deeper into this painting, the challenge was to find a comfortable…
