About this artwork
Solaris is the result of sixty-seven hours of scalpel cutting on 3 layers of paper.
This repetitive exercise allows me to enter into mediation where time no longer has its place. Only the space present on this sheet matters. A paradoxically random but strict work. This movement, this energy which was necessary for its realization is translated into this piece which evolves, which vibrates according to the light of day. An organic and hypnotizing… work where one can get lost and lose the notion of time and space.

I work with paper, which I cut with a scalpel and layer in a precise and meditative process.
This repetitive and meticulous technique allows me to reconnect with the present moment, ignoring my surroundings. It becomes a cathartic and soothing gesture.
My works are inspired by organic forms and give rise to living, evolving patterns. Depending on the surrounding light, each composition, each layer, transforms, offering new interpretations. A work that changes depending on the viewing angle.
The whole creates a vivid and dreamlike universe, which questions my perception of time and space. The viewer is invited to a silent contemplation, where the imagination can wander freely.
