About this artwork
A still life with my favorite yellow boots! What a happy idea !! I wore them for years until I tore them apart. I chose to accompany them some beautiful red heeled sandals but impossible to bear. The point and the counterpoint. Realistic in style, taking great care of technique; I used oil, which allowed me to work on glazes, textures and transparencies. A painting full of color, optimism and that makes a nod to the traditional themes of the Renaissance.
