About this artwork
With this work I seek to explore the emotional complexity of the human being through a symbolic collage that evokes introspection, vulnerability and strength. Textures and contrast seek to generate a dialogue between what is visible and what is hidden in our psyche. This piece will add depth and conversation to any space, inviting the viewer to personal reflection.

Gemma Antón combines photography and drawing, with a training that links architecture and oriental philosophy. He masters analog cutting and pasting, exploring the 'B-sides' and the inaccuracies of craftsmanship, with resonances of surrealism and "Écriture Automatique". His works distill the essence of emptiness, both in its creative dimension and in its representation of trauma, inviting a deep and emotional reflection on absence and its meaning.
