About this artwork
This painting was painted en plein air on a warm autumn day among the vineyards of the Valpolicela valley. The pomegranate tree was strewn with red ripe fruits. But what caught my eye most were the blue shadows that the tree cast on the brightly sunlit grass. It was a magical moment of unity with nature and admiration for its beauty.
