Georgi Minchev is an award-winning Bulgarian sculptor whose pieces have been exhibited in Germany and Japan. One of his large scale works is on display in Jinjiang Park, China. He often uses contrasting geometric shapes, such as a sphere and a cube. Minchev believes that we all have previous visual and emotional experiences with similar types of forms, and, in his work, he relies on their communication. His preferred material is stone.
