Expressive painting with gestural brush-strokes layerd atop subtly blended cloud-like forms. Painted on a circular wooden panel.
Colour note: The focal point of this painting is a reddish-plum colour, close to RAL* 4004 (Bordeauxviolett), admixed with white this whole section has a warm blush rose colour to it.
Edges are painted a soft pruple-grey and the piece is strung with picture wire to the back, ready to hang. The painting is clearly signed… & dated on the back.
*The RAL system is a colour index commonly used for commercial paint, powder coat etc. I come across it a lot in painting & decorating shops.

Georgina Vinsun, born in 1983, is a British artist working primarily with the abstract. Her father and grandmother were both avid painters who initially inspired her to venture into the realm of art. She pursued a degree in Fine Art (painting) at Loughborough University, graduating in 2005.
