About this artwork
Expressive piece inspired by the sky and its contastly changing cloud formations.
Colour note: the lower base colour is a close match with RAL* 4009 (Pastellviolet). The main plum-coloured central section shares tones with RAL 4004 (Bordeauxviolet), admixed with white to produce a soft pastel colour.
Painted on a canvas-wrapped board (with gallery corners). Edges are neatly painted and the piece is strung with picture wire, ready to hang. Signed… and dated by me on the back.
*I currently use the RAL K7 Classic colour chart to assist with the descirption of the colours in my paintings as computer monitors vary so much. I like the RAL system as I've always come across it in commercial paint shops.

Georgina Vinsun, born in 1983, is a British artist working primarily with the abstract. Her father and grandmother were both avid painters who initially inspired her to venture into the realm of art. She pursued a degree in Fine Art (painting) at Loughborough University, graduating in 2005.
