About this artwork
I visited Jeffreysbay recently and took some photos of the rocky coastline and this is the seascape painting of that visit. The coastline here is rugged and untamed. The sea comes rushing down on the quartzite rocks and carves them into these beautiful shapes. I just added more color. The painting is done on a thick cotton duck canvas and the artist used acrylic latex and oil to get these amazing textures. You will enjoy seeing this painting close-up.…
