About this artwork
The artist grew up in the Northern Transvaal, he is used to the loneliness that the bushveld can bring, also to be content at the silence, that is sometimes disturbed by the snorting of the bluewildebeest. So often he watched the colors that plays on the grass, from pink to brown hues. He captures the richnes of this scene by pure memory, observing and living there from his childhood.
