« My experimental abstract paintings are composed using the traces of the loss of matter. »
Istvan Gergely is an experienced artist based in Hungary whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Through his works, he explores the concepts of time and temporality via a contemporary artistic approach. Gergely most often employs common materials and self-made wax-based paints in order to produce a variety of material interactions, influenced by heat.
