About this artwork
My last troubled work of the summer of 2020. The figure, in a forced perspective, floats in an undefined turquoise space. It is a complete immersion in which the curves of the body blend with the background; the hand at the top is almost "burned", remaining the imprint of it. The geometric figure of the icosahedron stands out behind: a shadow with an opposite distortion; a presence, a warning that brings back to the cold geometric lucidity. This…
