About this artwork
The war in Vietnam...
Like all wars...
A tragedy linked to inhuman humanity... which always reveals itself as a failure of the human race...
Because wars go against every logic of life..
The work aims to be an invitation to peace..
Please note:
(The children's figures are collages shown on canvas..)

Giancarlo Siniscalchi
Italy
Giancarlo Siniscalchi uses watercolor, tempera, pastel, acrylic, enamel, pen, collage and mixed techniques, building his experience on a deep passion for painting. He prefers an instinctive and gestural style, alternating landscapes, still lifes, faces and subjects of historical-social relevance. His works convey a powerful emotion: they are like incandescent lava, in continuous movement, capable of deeply involving the viewer with spontaneity and expressive intensity.
