About this artwork
The idea of this series of shots, of which the one she chose is part, aims to focus on the fragile human condition. The woman depicted with her hands on her head tries to protect herself from harsh words which, in fact, "hurt like a weapon". The projected text is the article from The Times of December 7, 1941, the day on which the USA's entry into the war was announced. The choice of this article was not random, in fact I had1

“Words hurt more than a weapon” is an extremely simple, almost banal concept. A mantra that has been repeated to us since we were children, whirling into our heads like a nursery rhyme, but how aware are we really of the meaning of this essential rule?
The naked and defenseless body, without any defense, crouched in front of the void, is bombarded by a whirlwind of words.
