About this artwork
Autumn Magic is a large semi abstract autumn inspired oil painting which shows a glowing path through vibrantly coloured autumn trees. It has a magical and enticing feeling to it. It is 60x36x2 inches. The painting was made after many walks I took in and around Sussex during November 2023. The sun is low at this time of year and the beams of light shine through at an angle onto the greens, golds, magentas and oranges of the leaves casting everything…
around with a magical sheen. The feeling of the end of the path is of a revelation about to made and I hope I captured the sense of anticipation about what might be around the next bend in the path… (feel free to add what you think should be there).
