Stag in the Ether is one of a series of semi-abstract paintings of a red deer stag. It is 30x30x1.5 inches. The stag himself is painted in cool blues and purples and is seem emerging out of the ether from a warm red and orange background. The inspiration for this painting is simply an expression of the fascination I have for deer. They are often very elegant and appear and disappear at will which is why in folklore they are often portrayed as guides…
