Gobinet combined her love of dogs with her love of classic yachts, using a night time setting by moonlight. "Dogwatch" can refer to any of the night shifts on board a boat, and the dog featured here seems to be doing a splendid job!

Gilly Gobinet is an award-winning artist based in Antigua & Barbuda whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in St. Lucia, Anguilla, Venezuela, and France. Principally inspired by nature, she cites her training as a biologist as having stimulated her interest in the structure of flora and fauna. Gobinet's artistic expression is translated through varying styles with watercolors and acrylics on paper, canvas, or wood.
