About this artwork
The artist is a daily swimmer and she envisioned this painting to reflect the currents of water and reflected light that she experiences as she moves through the water. The fragments of colored lines and shapes and the speed of the marks are visual metaphors for what she sees.

Gina is a respected American painter with international residency and exhibition experience. Influenced partly by Abstract Expressionism and primarily by her visual environment, she experiments with oils, acrylics, spray paint and stencils to create layered, abstract works.
