About this artwork
I paint characters who live outside the rules without trying to. This figure carries a McDonald's cup like a chalice, rolls on a skateboard at an age when you're supposed to stop, and wears wings he doesn't notice. Freedom here isn't a statement — it's just how he moves. Found objects from the street pressed into the canvas permanently: someone's trash, now art. The red thread loops around him, connecting everything and nothing at once.
