About this artwork
In this work the painter expresses himself in a very concise way that is typical of this present moment of his. Pictorial trinkets and stylistic frills seem to be set aside at the moment to give greater voice to his almost primordial pictorial instinct. heart of painting, in color. That this is an important step can be understood from the total importance that Krinner attributes to every single brushstroke!

« In scattered waves of foam, my thoughts chase and envelop each other. They are an ointment that heals the wounds of my rebellious soul. »
Giovanni Krinner is an award-winning Italian artist who has extensively exhibited nationally. One of the key themes in his art is Mother Nature, who is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for him. Krinner's theories are both esoteric and metaphysical. He describes his artistic approach as "animalistic" and instinctive. He likens drawing and graphics to be on an intimate parrel with writing, all of which are notes that he needs to fix ideas from his soul, rather than from his mind.
