The painter wants to reassure his existence by painting a sea that is calming. In this work the light / dark and the chromatic alternation of warm and cold tones are certainly metaphor of the seasons of life and its continuous being and becoming in a sort of static movement.

Giovanni Krinner is an award-winning Italian artist who has extensively exhibited nationally. One of the key themes in his art is Mother Nature, who is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for him. Krinner's theories are both esoteric and metaphysical. He describes his artistic approach as "animalistic" and instinctive. He likens drawing and graphics to be on an intimate parrel with writing, all of which are notes that he needs to fix ideas from his soul, rather than from his mind.
