Dutch painter Gita Kalishoek's first experience with art was visiting the museum Boymans v Beuningen in Rotterdam with her father. Since then, Kalishoek has developed a unique artistic process which involves layering acrylics and textiles onto canvas. Often inspired by Dutch landscapes, Kalishoek's paintings are rich, multidimensional works that encapsulate and augment stunning scenes from nature in lively color.
