Her early life as a child of deaf, Lithuanian immigrants has greatly affected her methodology as an artist, Her figurative and portrait paintings are informed by her close observations of body-language, subtle characteristics and personality traits, a skill she developed while learning English. Her subjects are set in colorful, abstract, geometric or patterned backgrounds, painted in acrylics and oils.
