« My research aims to provide a deep reflection on spiritual evolution and self-awareness. In my opinion art should always leave a sign. »
Giuditta R is a young Italian painter who has exhibited her work internationally. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources including Avant-Garde Expressionism, films, contemporary photography and images from criminal archives, she composes works that present ghost-like characters immersed in twisted fairy tale settings. Her mysterious black and white compositions seek to explore questions of spirituality and self-awareness, acting as unsettling messengers of the subconscious.
