« Sentimental archeology: It is my modus vivendi, intended precisely as a will to dig, to search in depth one's own feelings, no mediation, lay bare your soul, and pass this on, restlessness. »
Giulia Gellini is an award-winning artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and Thailand. She describes the themes of her works as originating from the "vibrations of feeling", in which she completely immerses herself. Gellini's striking expressionist compositions are inextricably linked with the leitmotif of contrasting colors. She most often creates with acrylics, chalk, and wax on wood.
