The little girl disguised as a fox was wandering in the snow when a hunter, mistaking her for a white fox, pierced her heart with his arrow.
We are easily confused in trying to understand who we really are and sometimes that confusion is fatal. In the delicate period of the pandemic, Grincia asks herself more and more about who she want to be. She says that when she can’t find herself and she pretends to be something different, the situation gets… always worse.
Grincia tells her dreamy stories through her Pop Surrealism and Lowbrow style.
Her canvases are 3,5 cm deep and the artwork extends to the sides, so there is not a need for frame. Anyway it is possible to request to the artist the additional

Giulia Grincia is an award-winning artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in the United States.
