The Mona Lisa could not be missing, which, interpreted in a Pop Art key, I impressed pictorial violence on it and not only that, I projected it into the present day.
with our actors, famous people and everyday technological objects.
In the painting, the Mona Lisa or Lisa Gherardini from 1503 lives our time as a queen, a movie diva.
In this… work, I wanted to blend the classical with the modern, mixing fragments of pop and surrealism to celebrate the complexity of our times. I used acrylic and pen to create waves of energy that flow through iconic faces, evoking intense emotions and a sense of dynamism. It will bring an explosion of vitality and reflection into your home, speaking of beauty and chaos at the same time.

Giuseppe Pitruzzello, born in Sortino and graduated in Architecture from Turin, uses painting, drawing, and digital media, drawing on a solid background in the arts and conceptual art. Inspired by Surrealism, Symbolism, and Pop Art, he creates hyperrealistic works filled with symbolic colors, characters, and icons, in a dreamlike and ironic figurative style. His works convey powerful emotions, oscillating between joy and anxiety, inviting reflection on the contradictions of contemporary society and the search for transcendence.
At the age of 21 he was among the winners of the international competition announced by La Stampa, Le Monde, The Times and Die Welt, Theme: "Environment 1974", “Torino Esposizioni”.
