About this artwork
In this work the female presence is not narrated, but evoked.
The dark shape suggests a body, a root, a foundation belonging to the earth and matter. It is a woman understood as a silent force, as an origin.
Above her, a red shape floats like a thought: an internal cloud, light and unstable. It is the space of vision, of imagination, of that which has not yet clearly defined contours.
Woman becomes the point of passage between heaven and earth,… between thought and action.
The idea does not dissolve, but slowly takes shape, settles, remains.
It is a suspended balance between fragility and determination, between dream and presence.
