About this artwork
The artist wanted to represent a woman with an almost transparent and liquid body as a metaphor for the society in which we live and to respond to the sensation of fragility she perceives. Woman as an icon and pivot of our society. An exhortation to remain solid and united instead of separate and liquid. unbridled individualism, where no one is more a companion of the road but an antagonist of each, to beware of. This has undermined the foundations of modernity, made it fragile, hence a situation in which, in the absence of any reference point, everything dissolves into a kind of liquidity.
