About this artwork
In my work, oil colors merge semi-abstractly to create a lively scene. With every brush stroke I wanted to capture the wild beauty and quiet moments of nature. The emotions I felt were joy and peace. This creation is intended to create an atmosphere of energy and at the same time serenity in your home. Every detail is full of love for the beauty of the everyday.

Bas was born in today's Ukraine, and has lived in Germany since 1992. After studying art in Münster and at the acclaimed Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, he exhibits regularly in Germany. Bas deconstructs his first draft by, for example, painting over the painting with another painting and allowing chance to play a certain role.
