About this artwork
In my work you feel a deep connection with the emotions of the human spirit. The oil paints marry on the canvas to depict the complex inner life that lurks behind an intense gaze. My goal was to create a dialogue that goes beyond words - a visual symphony of feelings. This painting will bring an aura of thoughtfulness and emotional depth to any room.

Bas was born in today's Ukraine, and has lived in Germany since 1992. After studying art in Münster and at the acclaimed Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, he exhibits regularly in Germany. Bas deconstructs his first draft by, for example, painting over the painting with another painting and allowing chance to play a certain role.
