About this artwork
In my abstract oil paintings I used glazes to create an energetic explosion of colors and emotions. The fluid transitions and dynamic beams create a feeling of vibrant movement, as if one were immersed in a moment of pure, powerful expression. This work transmits an atmosphere of inspiration and passion into any room, enlivening the senses and encouraging dreaming.

Bas was born in today's Ukraine, and has lived in Germany since 1992. After studying art in Münster and at the acclaimed Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, he exhibits regularly in Germany. Bas deconstructs his first draft by, for example, painting over the painting with another painting and allowing chance to play a certain role.
