Los Angeles has always had an instantly recognizable, odd skyline with its flat top buildings. With so many new high rises going up, it keeps changing dramatically, just like the city. The way the sun hit made him want to paint it. The palm trees are sort of buildings in their own way, like timeless icons.

Glenn Waggner is a prize-winning American artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited in the United States. His expressionistic works, which are often imbued with humor, feature buildings that are like people, and vice versa. In addition, one of Waggner recurring themes is the depiction of rabbits, which he feels have a "slightly darker edge". His distinctive pieces are created using oils on canvas or wood.
