About this artwork
An abstract mixed medium painting combining oil, acrylic and ink with digital disruption and pixilation. This is a large scale painting and it ships in a crate.
Golareh's process combines digital manipulation and fine art analogue brushwork. First she creates the concept digitally using a variety of mediums including photography, pixilation and digital painting. She then transfers the digital work onto a canvas and applies her oil and acrylic impasto… brushstrokes. The final result is a unique marriage of classical and emerging glitch art.

« Art is my love, my voice, my dreams, my confidant and best friend, my therapist and healer, my teacher and guardian. »
Golareh Safarian is a painter and photographer based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Voyage LA and SHOUTOUT LA. Safarian likens her compositions to visual poems that translate narratives based on innocence and corruption, hope and despair, dreams and reality, "often creating a dance between the optimist, the pessimist, and the realist".
