Painted on a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a thick parchment like paper, strong, yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.… The close up picture is to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress. And that's me with the painting for perspective.
For framing, leave the decorative edges exposed! They are an integral part of the composition.
