About this artwork
If I never knew Horst Janssen's outstanding flower drawings by colored pencils, I might never even have an interest in flower itself, let alone drawing them. Janssen's flower drawings were such a huge impact on me. It's almost nineteen years since I began to draw flowers by myself having been influenced by Horst Janssen. Just wonder if I could establish my own flower drawing style, or not yet. This time I made these drawing series by seeing flowers…
which I bought at a flower shop for the first time. Not only drawing flowers but I've found the joys of purchasing and ornament with them.
