About this artwork
Allo Specchio is in a private collection.
It took a while before I understood what watercolour strength is. Mixing pigments in wet spots is like dancing two people, once they attract each other, once they repel. The first layer is always the most important for me, I devote myself to it entirely, observing all these reactions almost like a viewer watching a colorful spectacle. At this stage there is the biggest emotions that I give away. subsequent… layers for the stage of emerging shapes from colored spots. "Allo Specchio" - "At the mirror" has everything I see in my reflection in the mirror, confidence and uncertainty, peace and concern, courage and fear, joy and sadness.
As Paul Gaugiun said: “Color which, like music, is a matter of vibrations, reaches what is most general and therefore most indefinable in nature: its inner power….”

« Watercolors echo how I live my life: fluid, uninterrupted, and enjoying every valuable moment. »
For Gosia Gregorczyk, fleeting and spontaneous nature go hand in hand with admiration, as well as the knowledge that every day will bring something new. These are all powerful motivators for her and the driving force behind her artistic expression. Gregorczyk avoids planning and well-worn paths, preferring independence, and being surprised by life. She allows herself to be carried away by emotion and this effect is visible in the marks, stains, and colors which carry parts of her.
