About this artwork
In this work, I fused acrylic, pastel, pencil, and ink to capture a whirlwind of dynamic emotions. The vibrant colors and energetic movements evoke a spiritual freedom. Expressionism meets abstraction to tell a passionate story, a personal journey beyond visible boundaries. This painting will bring a touch of life and energy to any space, inspiring contemplation and conversation.

Gregory Geng, born in 1975, lives and works in France where he has distinguished himself as a multifaceted artist. Trained at the Ateliers Beaux-Arts de Paris from 1999 to 2007, then at La Grande Chaumière between 2005 and 2007,
Inspired by the works of Luis Caballero, Turner and Georges Inness, Gregory's artistic approach is both figurative and expressionist. His creations oscillate between raw realism and abstraction, seeking to capture the very essence of his subjects without idealizing them. He strives to paint as he perceives.
His works reveal an intense emotional depth, highlighting the vulnerability and strength of bodies or landscapes. Gregory Geng likes to play with lines and shapes, sometimes letting himself be guided by chance while maintaining a guiding principle. This intuitive and spontaneous approach gives his works an organic and authentic quality.
