Tiraspol, Transnistria.
In this work I captured a striking juxtaposition between war and peace, symbolized by a battle tank and a church.
The black and white contrast reinforces the themes of conflict and spirituality, particularly in Transnistria, a self-proclaimed independent state (not recognized by the UN) since the war and Russian military intervention in 1992 that led to the establishment of a permanent Russian military presence in Transnistria.…
A stray dog crosses the scene, adding a layer of humanity and reminding us of the often invisible impacts of human discord on the weakest. This photograph seeks to question and reflect on the coexistence of opposites in our societies.
