This piece describes the flowing of water. It is a development of my paintings of the flow of Padstow Estuary, where I live.
It is flow reduced to its barest form. The sun dominates the image as a solid balance, ever constant.
The sand and beach are rich in gold and orange. Orange is the most energetic and invigorating colour. Blue is its balance.
This picture has been described as "Kind", as its energy is giving and soothing.
