As his self-ascribed moniker Gaffmatt would suggest, artist Matthieu Lainé draws much of his inspiration from graffiti and the world of street art. Using a varying combination of acrylic, spray paint and felt on canvas, Graffmatt creates classically-cool portraits and urban landscapes. His works are detailed, disruptive paintings united by the artist’s signature motifs and color palette.
