Griff Griffin is a painter, photographer, and digital artist who is drawn to visual architecture. He has been photographing since the early 1970s and paints in oil. His recent digital work begins with his own photographs of the American West, shot in the Wyoming Tetons and the Gros Ventre, which he reworks with Adobe Firefly, prints on canvas, and finishes by hand in oil. Alongside the landscapes, he paints direct, gestural oil portraits and landscapes. His paintings and photographs are held by private collectors, many of them working artists, across the United States, including Maine, California, Virginia, New York, Illinois, Florida, and New Hampshire.
