About this artwork
This original oil painting is one of the latest artworks of the talented Bulgarian artist Grigor Velev. In creating this piece, he wants to ignite a mixture of surreal and introspective thoughts, blending elements of realism with pop art flair. The juxtaposition of the giant fly and the human figure amidst a bold checkerboard landscape invites viewers into a narrative that is whimsically bizarre yet hauntingly poignant. This artwork is meant to challenge…
perceptions of reality and scale, providing a vibrant yet thought-provoking presence in any space, enriching the ambiance with a dose of fantastical intrigue.
