About this artwork
When I toured France, I especially got to like the Aquitaine, with its vignobles, noyers, truffes, its radiant landscape in summer, its fresh and light cuisine, and its wonderful Côte d'Argent with kilometres of silver sand and light and exquisite fish dishes, of which I had one in Saint Èmilion in that street that I then painted in reminiscence of the unforgettable time that I spent there.
