About this artwork
This sculpture follows an enveloping line that allows us to partially see that interior space, that void protected by metal as if it were a skein. It wants to represent the strength with which we create a core of positive energy, although fragile, with all the love we feel throughout our lives. Mª Ángeles Lázaro Guil is an award-winning painter and sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, the Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, the United States, England, Italy, Algeria, and Morocco. Through her pieces, she endeavors to recreate what she admires about nature's vital geometry by abstracting "the coordinates, axes and mathematical points that define all beings in space".
