Guillaume Auray, a versatile French artist, combines drawing, painting, gilding and film simulations. He uses different techniques, combining patinating wax, gold leaf and oxidized copper, he transforms black and white photos into enigmatic monotypes. His work, marked by a continual quest for light, appeared in particular lighting conditions, bringing a poetic and spiritual depth. His works inspire a deep emotion, evoking harmony, unity and a mysterious connection with an elusive "light".
