« To paint is to give a solid form to thought, it is to build, with a few simple and large images, an open and poetic universe. »
Guy Colin is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally. He describes his works as finding their balance through oppositions. Colin depicts poetic icons in hostile universes, employing multiple symbols in a sober composition. In his artistic process, he fuses "noble materials" with scraps, as well as modern technologies with traditional processes.
